Re: Lesson Set Up

No problem. The thing to do is to install all six disks, then reboot, open Lessons 1-5, and send me the site code, which I use to generate an authorization code for this installation.

Re: 5/9 Indicators

This is likely due to one of several issues….. --make sure you are accounting for the Jaws and closed 5/9s --make sure you are looking at the same data for hand-drawn and computer charts , especially the possible difference between 24 hour data and day session data. --On TradeStation the fattest ...

Re: DG Indicators

Thanks for this... Am very pleased that the software is helpful. Yes, the predicted high and low is derived from the termination lines and is related to the types of trading that are present. I hope you spend some time on Charlie's "talking to myself" series of movies as they are very, ve...

Re: Flow

Think of flow as the market's "ability to make progress in one direction or another".....and it can be seen in subtle ways before the more dramatic and definitive moves manifested by such things as dot push etc. It takes some traders a bit of time to recognize flow in its less intense, sl...

Re: Lesson 26

Regarding Lesson 26, screen 225.....No, an hourly block by itself does not cause anticipation that it will be strong. Here we are saying that support is anticipated to be strong (per previous screen) and thus the hourly block level (to the upside) anticipated to be weak.....but that does not necies...

Re: Lesson 26

No perfect answer on theis one. These nearby's were drawn in by hand before the software for automating them was created, so there is an element of subjectivity always present, and most especially so when the close is very close to the on-coming ET. Even now, when the computer would be entirely con...

Re: Lesson 26

If anticipated daily direction is down which is was due to exhaust formation underway, then I can see why one would nibble at a short position, shorting hourly resistance. The questiion would be if shorting hourly resistance does the daily ET hold (which would mean a daily Cwave) or not, which woul...

Re: Lesson 26

Looks as if one was long on bar 1 of 5/05, and thus looking to see if continued up or no? Bars 1-2-3 show support strong, and nearby support moving closer to pldot, not a sign to go short. Nevertheless, could as you suggest have shorted at coalescence of daily/30 minute dot, but it is not a perfect...

Re: Lesson 25

Yes, of course, well understood and no shame in that. We're all better off if we perfectly reflect probability thinking but it is hard to do that all the time.

Re: Lesson 25

As I see it, I would have likely tried a short on that Monday due to the weekly nearby resistance; the reasoning is not flawed for this trade but then again it is not the strongest configuration I have ever seen for a short set-up. Nevertheless, it would have been the next logical trade in my eyes....
