I am trying to listen to the P&L Lab tapes and read the book too, but there Charlie is referencing pages and examples that I cannot see or do not appear to correlate with the tape. Is there any secret to the way that this is organized? For example he says that page numbers are circled and none of my page numbers have circles or he referenced a corn chart within the first 5 minutes or so of tape 1 on page 4 and I cannot see a corn chart anywhere.

Yes, I understand. These tapes were made in the 1980s from a live session, and the Labs book was self-produced by Charlie in those days, and the materials are not complete. There is no secret way that they are organized, it is just that they are not complete, and there is essential no way to rectify that situation, since Charlie never saved any further documentation. All this happened long before I met him. We provide the materials for what is there but can't do much about what isn't there....
