Lesson 12

Post by Trader Question »

I have a question on Lesson 12, screen 130.

The text says that the daily is exhausting into weekly resistance. Do you mean monthly resistance? The daily exhausts are in the second bar of June, which appears to have moved up even beyond any further out resistance. Just making sure I am not missing signs that would help identify the end of the daily move up - which seem to me to be daily up-flow weakening and monthly holding in nearby resistance below ET - but nothing on the weekly.

Daily is exhausting into both weekly and monthly resistance. Weekly resistance consists of weekly furtherout in second week followed by weekly nearby in third week.

Essentially once you move past the nearbys you are in furtherout territory... At which point you are looking for signs of daily resistance holding, which are seen, and so the expectation is that the next direction will be don, and so the trade is to sell daily resistance at the best levels you can get.
