Learning Center

Post by Trader ??? »

I got the response regarding " User Name & Pass Words".
It goes to " The Learning Center" now. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, It seems like "no links" for opening the Lessons.
( After I click the lesson from left pane, it lists the lesson detail for each section
at the right pane, but it did not link to the lesson at all.)

Do you think, I need special software downloaded for reading the lessons?
Would You Please give me the advice, how can I open the lessons for
studying. V.A.

Assuming that you are first properly logged in, then you go to the page :
http://www.drummondgeometry.com/lessons ... /intro.php
then you click on "Lesson videos"
and that brings you to the page:
http://www.drummondgeometry.com/lessons ... /video.php
Then you can click on any of the videos, e.g. lesson 2 section 1.1.

Also be sure you watch the movie "Getting started" on the page
http://www.drummondgeometry.com/lessons ... /intro.php

Following your advice. Even after going through to click on "Lesson video".
It brought me to this web-site
http://www.drummondgeometry.com/lessons ... /video.php. (It shown at the
right pane the Drummond Geometry- The Millenium. Lessons.. )
Then I tried to click on Lesson 2 Secton 1.1 or any Lesson 2 Section 1.2,
1.3,1.4. It shown "Blank page"on the Monitor.

Do you think I do need to download any software for reading somethings for
the Lessons. ( I had tried to watch the movie "Getting stated" on the page
http://www.drummondgeometry.com/lessons ... /intro.php. It did not work
at all. ( I have to emphasize to you that, this is the PC I am using at work
at this moment. I believe there are a lot of software needed for this ).

I will apply your instruction with my home PC tonight, after getting off
from work.

Yes, you will need a PC that runs either XP or Vista and have a good fast
internet connection. When you get home tell me about your PC at home, what Internet connection,
what memory, how old, what operating system, etc.

My home computer is using Windows XP, Memory = 512MHz, having a DSL
internet connection. I believe It has enough memory to run Mr. Drummond
Geometry Lessons. ( Even It happened once a while the virus entered, to
ruin the system, and I have to re-install the Windows XP again and again..)

What I am concerning about here is My work' Computer. (As you known most
working computer, they did not install too many software to run their
computer. What I emphasize about my work computer here.) Therefore, Does It
need any software downloaded for it? in order to watch the lessons from Mr.
Drummond- Geometry web- site. V. A.

Yes, I consulted with my tech guy on your issue and it may be that you need to download Flash and Acrobat reader.
Use the links just below to download them. Let me know if this improved matters.

He also said that your 512 K memory may be too small to properly run your PC, but let's try the free downloads before going to more extreme measures.
