Well now that I have progressed further in L26 I am beginning to understand the questions I had. So I will continue on here and see if it becomes even more clear.

Yes, sometimes we offer tooooo much information and thus seemingly make the lessons more complicated than is necessary. Most students find that with completion of the Lessons and a subsequent review that the highlights come into focus and the underlying simplicity comes through.
