Trigger?

Post by Trader Question »

Would it be to simplistic to say that the change from support to resistance can be "triggered" when the HTP turns negative ( or vice versa)?

i.e - the HTP sets up a dotted line - obviously its progress is beginning to stall - so that would be the "trigger' that begins a switch in support to
resistance - and then you monitor it to see if it exhibits other indications of weakness - like a move inside the envelope, etc

Well,,, I suppose... but why make it so difficult?... Resistance is a place above price where selling will come in, and when you are there, you see the selling happen. Simple as that. If the projected resistance is not there in reality, the selling will not occur, and thus you will not see it. Simple.
