And then there was "Flow"

And then there was "Flow" - and this is the way I should monitor it???
I am realizing that "Flow" (Or some may call it Price Action) is what I am monitoring at the HTP's first and then during the LTP intraday.
There is no chicken or egg dicotomy here If there were no "Flow" then there would be no P&L. P&L is "a" (probably the best "a" way!!) way to "measure" or monitor Flow or price movement.

So what I should be monitoring is as follows and in order:

Step One - Monitor the "Flow" of the price bar
A. Where is the price bar in relation to the prior bars (i.e. Exhaust, Dotted Line setup, or just higher or lower, etc.)

+++where is it in relation to market structure, which includes in relation to envelope structure, and to the various htp's

B. Next where the "Close" on the price bar is (i.e. high or low end as well if a bar has higher highs or lower lows in relation to the prior bar.

+++yes... and I like the definition/question "is the bar making progress towards its goal"... which presumes a target... "making progress" includes a lot of signs and sglnals and implies a lot..

C. Where the close is in relation to the PLDot (i.e. Distance from the PLDot - whether it is being "Pushed" away or "Pulled" to(refreshed) the PLDot

Step two - Monitor where the Target or termination areas are
THEN - I should start looking around for P&L tools for support/resistance to determine Target or termination areas that the price will stop at

Focusing more on Flow is helping me to put this whole system together

I quess I just need to work on it more But this format gives me confidence that I at least think I know what I'm doing But some of your questions threw me - such as why did yesterday block where it did?? I don't know why really - I can quess but I don't have a clear idea why - or what I should be looking at.
