How do you setup your continuous charts on tradestation, do you create customized continuous charts for futures?

This depends on the timeframe. For most purposes I use @us or @es and let TradeStation defaults take over. In some situations when we are trying to match particular trading system results or to match data generated by other external data suppliers such as CSI we specify various parameters so that contracts are stitched together is a way that we understand. The situation and the techniques used to meet the data needs do vary depending on what we are trying to accomplish. Note that is some situations such as @UP for long-term data we need to use @us.p since the electronic contracts do not extend back in time far enough.
