Intraday "Day Session or 24 hour session"

Hi Ted,
Did or does Charlie trade the day session on the S&P or the 24 hour session? I'm aware that the day session using an hourly chart (60 min) you get 7 bars against a daily envelope which is in the ballpark of 5 bars (rule of thumb for picking high & lows with a lower time period according to the methodology). With a 24 hour session you get 24 bars. Does it really matter or is it personal preference when it comes to intraday trading...picking off the daily high & lows?
